Motorized Shades
Automated window treatments that manage light, privacy, and heat throughout the day, all on their own.
Shades are the part of a smart home people are most sceptical about and most attached to afterwards. In Southern Utah they earn their place quickly: the right fabric on a west-facing window keeps a room usable through the afternoon without shutting out the view.
What that looks like
Following the sun
Shades track sunrise and sunset through the year rather than a fixed clock, so the timing holds in January and July alike.
Privacy without darkness
Sheer and blackout layers on the same window, so you can keep the daylight and the view while losing the sightline.
Heat off the glass
Solar fabrics chosen for orientation, cutting the load on your cooling before it starts rather than after.
Quiet hardware
Motors you can barely hear, hardwired where we can reach and battery where we cannot, with charging that is not a chore.
